Oh the pain, the pain!

On Saturday (16/6/07), we went to Albany to check out some bikes at Albany Motorcycles because my daughter Kylie wanted to buy a new Honda CRF450X for he hubby, Shannon. I was there to offer some technical knowhow/experience and to negotiate the deal. I was also there to check out a few options for myself.

The Guys at Albany Motorcycles were very helpful and took plenty of time helping us out and explaining our options. In the end we worked out a deal and signed on the dotted line The new bike would be ready on Monday. Mission: part one completed....

I had planned to check out some new and/or second hand bikes for both my oldest son and myself. There were a few 2nd hand bikes I liked... An '05 CRF450X, a KTM and a Husky. The Husky had only just been traded and looked like it had had a reasonable 'off'. The headlight was missing (with evidence it hadn't been removed on purpose) and there was some other damage here and there.... The KTM looked ok but there was someone else already looking at it, so I decided to give the CRF a try.
