A few weeks ago, we started looking seriously into the idea of adding another 'member' to our family. Mindy and I started looking online at various websites. We had talked about getting another dog, on and off, since loosing West back in February this year.

Getting another Dobermann was (more or less) out of the question until we stumbled across this website and read about 'Diesel': a beautiful two year old Dobermann needing a new home. We contacted the 'owners' and looked very seriously at our options but in the end decided this was probably not the right choice for us at this time.

We also contacted a few animal rescue shelters in Perth and followed up on a couple of Dogs but were either too late or we missed out for other reasons... Who would have thought finding a dog would present such a challenge?

Too cut a long story short, we made an 800km round-trip dash to Gidgegannup (north-east of Perth) yesterday to pickup "Harley", our beautiful little Golden Retriever Puppy. I'll write some more about Harley soon but for now, here's a couple of photos.
