Specialzed Demo 9
This bike was purchased new in January 2006 but has only had relatively little use. I used it for a few months to do some basic 'cross country' type riding in preparation for some more serious riding (I did one 65km cross country ride) but then my job situation changed.... I got out of 'training' and never really got back to it....
The bike has been only rarely used for the past 18 months... mostly just to go for a ride with my dog, etc. Not exactly "downhill racing" but there you go... In mid 2007 I had a motorcycle (dirtbike) accident and in November 2007 I had another heavy fall, so it is unlikely this bike will see any 'action' any time soon.
The original high resolution photos (up to 3008x2000) are also available. If interested, let me know and I will make them available for download.

The Demo 9 is still for sale, although I do know of someone (local) who is currently interested in buying it.
I have not thought about sending it to the States as I imagine it would be very expensive to do. It would probably be better (and cheaper) to buy one in the States if you can find one.

It seems like it's in such nice condition. Would you be willing to sell frame only? How much do you want for it complete? How much do you want frame only if you sell frame only?
Also, what size is the frame? Thanks.
My Demo 9 is in excellent
My Demo 9 is in excellent (almost as new) condition. It is still for sale but as a complete bike only. The bike frame is size 'M' as can be seen on one of the included photos: simply click 'next' above the photo to see the other photos in the slide show.
The complete bike is for sale for $AUS 2500.00. The bike is in the "The Great Southern" area of Western Australia.
Note: Some of the included low resolution photos do not do the bike justice. I can make high resolution photos available if required.

I still am interested in buying the demo 9. Would you mind giving me a shipping quote? I know shipping will be expensive (probably over $500 USD), but I will probably be willing to pay for it, afterall, it is so hard to find a demo 9 in that kind of condition.

I saw the "next" button soon
I saw the "next" button soon after I posted my last post, and I was blown away. Ok, I would be willing to pay $2000 AUD. That is the equivelant to about $1,950 USD.
My next quesiton is, how much is shipping for you from there to here? I called local stores around me already to find a rate, and even called UPS shipping company, and they could not give me a rate from Australia to the United States. Also, I'm guessing Australia might have their own shipping companies.
I have been wanting a demo for a long time now, and I found a beautiful one at hand.
